I wanted to share with you a poem Natasha wrote. I am so lucky she has such a heart for God.

Heavens Gate

I arrived at Heaven's gate
Quietly waiting to go in
I saw a world full of love
Void of sadness of sin
All were happy to see me
Relatives and friends that had passed
They asked how I felt to finally be free
Free from those worldly chains
I said I feel incredible
I feel completely changed
We talked a while
Shared many a smile
Then their eyes did turn
They froze in place and I didn't know why
Until I turned to follow their gaze, I saw the face of Jesus Christ
I froze in place, I fell to my knees and landed at His feet
I saw the scars in His feet and the scar in His side
I saw the place the nails had been and I broke down and cried
He said '' No tears shall be shed here, unless they're tears of joy..''
His voice was calm and loving
He gently took my hand
I still gazed into His eyes
I didn't understand
'' Lord why would you die for me..a wretch and nothing more''
He looked at me and smiled
''Now you understand true love..my servant my daughter my child.

So this morning started out with getting Natasha's Senior pictures made. We also had a family picture made for our homeschool yearbook. It was kinda sad being at this place for the last time for yearbook pictures.

When they had her put on the cap and gown I wondered where did all of our time go? Seems like yesterday we were doing the fun pages for first grade.

For you with little ones cherish each and every minute of everyday you have with your children. It will pass all to soon

Saturday Adventures

Wow I am blogging. What those POD ladies will get you involved in is amazing.

Here are some pictures I took on Lookout Mtn Saturday. Natasha and I did something we never do, we went on with Charlie to look at a job. Lookout Mtn is beautiful. It is home to Rock City, Ruby Falls, Point Park, many cannons and The Cravens House. Everywhere you look up there is beauty and you are reminded of God's wonderful gifts to us.

After the mountain Charlie came home and painted the doors on out back porch. Natasha and I worked with getting the timers set for the lights out there. Who knew a timer could be so impossible?? :-) Charlie had to fix them the next day seems we had the a.m. and p.m. confused.
